As a professional dancer and cultural promoter with a penchant for boutique hotels that convey Colombia's rich heritage, I recently visited Blue Star to unravel its luxury and value proposition. The simplicity of the rooms was offset by their cleanliness and comfort, aligning well with the affordable price point.For me, cleanliness is paramount, and Blue Star exceeded expectations with its immaculate white marble floors that were a joy to walk barefoot on. The availability of a flat-screen TV with excellent cable channels, including favorites like the Disney Channel, added a homely touch to the experience. The on-site facilities, such as the breakfast made to order, further enhanced the overall value of the stay. Amenities like a sun terrace and garden furniture provided spaces for relaxation, while the off-site car park ensured convenience for travelers. The option to pay extra for additional items like juice and fruit allowed for customization while still maintaining a reasonable price.Blue Star strikes a balance between affordability and comfort, making it a prudent choice for travelers seeking a mix of value and luxury in Cartagena.
